A fun-filled week of music!

During the first half of June, we take a week to introduce the choir and choral instruction to children who enjoy singing. Recommendation forms for Choir Fest are sent to area schools in April. Music teachers approve students, their parents fill out the form and return it to KCC with the registration fee.

Choir Fest lasts from Monday through Friday for 3 hours each day. On Friday evening, a concert for all new students and present KCC singers is held to give the students and parents a taste of the rewards of performance.

At the end of the week, auditions are held for the fall choir season.
